What You'll Do
As a key member of our engineering team, you'll:
- Coach and mentor junior engineers, improving technical skills, fostering collaboration, and boosting productivity.
- Develop high-quality software solutions with best practices, reducing technical debt and ensuring efficient maintenance.
- Enhance development processes, optimising testing methods for faster time-to-market and improved software quality.
- Collaborate across teams, working with product, design, and operations to solve real customer problems.
- Influence strategy, making key software decisions that shape the team's success.

- Proven leadership ability, coaching and guiding junior engineers to success.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, escalating issues when needed to ensure commitments are met.
Your Technical Toolkit
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
- Strong knowledge of web development frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, REST APIs).
- Practical experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Ability to design secure and high-performance software solutions.
- Proficiency in debugging and optimising applications.
Experience
We’re looking for someone with 5-8 years of hands-on software development experience, with exposure to a variety of programming languages, technology stacks, and cloud platforms.

This role is Adelaide-based, and applicants must be available to work on-site as required. While we appreciate interest from across Australia, please note that remote work is not an option for this position.
