What You'll Do

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll:

  • Coach and mentor junior engineers, improving technical skills, fostering collaboration, and boosting productivity.
  • Develop high-quality software solutions with best practices, reducing technical debt and ensuring efficient maintenance.
  • Enhance development processes, optimising testing methods for faster time-to-market and improved software quality.
  • Collaborate across teams, working with product, design, and operations to solve real customer problems.
  • Influence strategy, making key software decisions that shape the team's success.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.
  • Passion for simplicity and efficiency, always seeking better solutions.
  • Proven leadership ability, coaching and guiding junior engineers to success.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, escalating issues when needed to ensure commitments are met.

 

Your Technical Toolkit

  • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
  • Strong knowledge of web development frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, REST APIs).
  • Practical experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to design secure and high-performance software solutions.
  • Proficiency in debugging and optimising applications.

 

Experience

We’re looking for someone with 5-8 years of hands-on software development experience, with exposure to a variety of programming languages, technology stacks, and cloud platforms.

This role is Adelaide-based, and applicants must be available to work on-site as required. While we appreciate interest from across Australia, please note that remote work is not an option for this position.
