Join South Australia’s iconic RAA as we launch our new Tow Fleet! In this crucial role, you'll be part of a dedicated and friendly team responsible for responding to road service calls, loading, transporting and unloading vehicles across the Adelaide Metropolitan area. As an RAA employee you’ll represent our brand on the road, with your professional, safety and solution focused approach ensuring our members receive top-notch service when they need it most. You will also:

 

  • Use safe towing practices to recover and transport vehicles in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service and prompt solutions to our members with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Proactively manage tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with operational staff to expedite service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry skills to offer the best solutions.
  • Build strong professional relationships, embodying RAA corporate values and ethics.

 

About you  

 

You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference. 

This role will require diligent, reliable and self-motivated individuals who are able to work within a team environment. Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic and commitment to workplace health and safety. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.

 

For this role, we’re also looking for:

 

  • Hold a current South Australian Medium or Heavy Rigid truck licence
  • Flexibility to work on a roster over a 6-day week (including public holidays) – for shifts between 6:00am – 10:00pm
  • Current South Australian unencumbered ‘C-class’ driver's licence
  • Eligible to obtain a South Australian Tow Operators Certificate
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
