An exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for leading RAA’s internal communications activities and providing advice and communications planning for Executives. What you’ll enjoy most about this role:

  • Establishing strong working relationships with Executives to identify and support communications and engagement opportunities among their own teams.
  • Implementing RAA’s Internal Communications Strategy to contribute to a connected and informed workforce.
  • Managing RAA’s Viva Engage Channel- currently ranked 11th globally- and playing a lead role in it’s ongoing success.
  • Identifying and pursuing news stories that promote RAA as an employer of choice.
  • Playing a key role in engaging across multiple worksites and digital platforms.
  • Overseeing the relaunch of RAA’s intranet.

About you  

You are a confident, passionate and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re keen to work for a proudly South Australian organisation that is obsessed with its members and helping the South Australian community.

You’re perfect for this role if you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • The ability to deal professionally and sensitively with staff at all levels.
  • Extensive experience in writing and communications planning for Executives.
  • Knowledge of employee communication tools such as Viva Engage and best practice Intranet platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing high-quality communications projects and campaigns.
  • Knowledge of public relations, social media and the media cycle.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics and concepts to audiences of varying knowledge levels – both verbally and in writing
