RAA Insurance is the leading, iconic, state-based Insurance brand in S.A. The Claims team are taking care of more than 75,000 claims for South Australians this year, and the Insurance business in RAA continues to grow.

A rare opportunity has become available for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact for our members and staff to optimise processes and outcomes throughout the claims end to end lifecycle.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Claims Operations, you will lead the optimisation of service delivery across our Claims teams to ensure an exceptional member and staff experience. This role is for someone who is driven by and passionate about process improvement, including redesign and refinement. In addition, you will:

 

  • Develop process and procedures to ensure our claims operations run like clockwork
  • Analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage stakeholder engagement from inception to delivery ensuring robust change management and effective adoption
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Insurance Claims, to clearly understand needs and challenges, fostering a productive and consultative work environment

About you  

 

You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.

 

For this role, we’re also looking for:

  • Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma improvement tools and techniques
  • Understanding of claims processes and quality management principles
  • Solid experience in Excel, Sharepoint Online including MS forms, creation of surveys and other data collecting instruments, data presentation and analytics
  • Previous experience working in high volume, fast paced service centre operational roles, preferably in leadership
  • Experience in project management fundamentals
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in presentations and facilitation.
  • Innovative thinking and strong execution with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
