Your new opportunity

As a Senior Coordinator- Member Governance, you will develop and maintain policies and frameworks that promote fairness, integrity, and strong member outcomes, while balancing commercial and governance priorities. In this role, you’ll work closely with the business to provide expert advice and ensure policies are effectively embedded, consistently applied, and aligned with our commitment to putting members first. In addition, you will: 

  •        Maintain an understanding of any required compliance obligations under any applicable regulatory bodies to ensure member Policies, Procedures and Frameworks remain compliant.
  •        Partner effectively with the business providing consultancy, advice, and support to embed a firm understanding of member Policies, Procedures and Frameworks to ensure adherence.
  •        Prepare regular reports and presentations highlighting performance metrics, insights, activity and recommendations for improvement solutions.
  •        Assist with the preparation of annual member governance targets and areas of focus.

About you 

You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community and want to make a difference.

For this role, we’re also looking for:

  •        Comprehensive knowledge of relevant compliance standards, legislative requirements and industry codes and best practices for member Polices, Procedures and Frameworks.
  •        Proven experience working with complaints, vulnerability and financial hardship is desirable.
  •        Insurance/Financial Industry experience desirable.
  •        Effective conflict resolution and ability to have respectful, courageous conversations.
  •        A passion for policy governance and a strong drive for collaboration and compliance.
  •        Experience working with, and influencing, stakeholders in a professional environment is essential, preferably in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
