Precise Systems is expanding our team and seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack .NET Web Developer to help us deliver technology with purpose. In this fully remote role, you will design, develop, and enhance a suite of government-owned, web-based business applications used by more than 50,000 users across Navy acquisition organizations.

These applications help our customers manage complex contract portfolios and funding, ensuring the warfighter has the resources and capabilities needed to achieve the mission. What You Will Do

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack solutions aligned with customer needs and mission objectives.
• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise-level web applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Translate complex business needs into practical, reliable technical solutions.
• Partner with business users and customer stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor other members of the development team.
• Promote development standards and best practices that strengthen application quality, consistency, security, and performance.
• Build trusted, long-term customer relationships by listening, collaborating, and consistently delivering high-quality solutions.
• Contribute ideas and expertise that help Precise and our customers continuously improve.

What You Bring

•  At least 10 years of software development experience.
• At least three years of full-stack software development experience using:

o   C# Web APIs

o   Vue.js, React, or another modern JavaScript framework

o   Microsoft SQL Server

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative remote team.
• A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
•  A commitment to quality, teamwork, customer service, and mission success.

Preferred Experience

• Developing and supporting enterprise-level web applications with separated, service-oriented data-retrieval architecture.
• Database development and query optimization using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Experience supporting DoD, federal government, or other mission-critical customers.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, information systems, or a related field is required.

Allowable Substitutions

One of the following may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree requirement:

• An associate degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, information systems, or a related field, plus three additional years of overall experience and the required specialized experience; or
• Eight additional years of overall experience, plus the required specialized experience.

Security and Citizenship Requirements

The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

This position is fully remote. Employees are expected to remain on camera for approximately 90% of the workday to support collaboration, communication, and team engagement.

Remote employees must maintain a professional, private, and distraction-free workspace; have reliable internet access; remain available and responsive during established working hours; attend all required virtual meetings; protect company and customer information; and comply with all company timekeeping, security, performance, and remote-work policies. Remote work is not a substitute for dependent care or elder care. Employees may also be required to report to a company or customer location based on business needs.

To make your transition to Precise even more rewarding, this position includes a sign-on bonus, subject to the terms outlined below.

Precise Systems will provide you with a $10,000 sign-on bonus in recognition of the skills you bring to the Senior Full Stack .NET Web Developer role. The bonus will be paid through a separate payroll in the month following your first thirty (30) days of employment and will be subject to applicable taxes and withholding.

If you voluntarily resign within 24 months after the payment date, you agree to repay the unearned portion of the bonus, reduced by 1/24 for each completed month of employment after payment. Precise will provide the repayment amount and instructions in writing. No repayment is required if Precise ends your employment without cause.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
