The Management Analyst provides technical and programmatic support to ensure long-term system lifecycle supportability. This role bridges the gap between technical subject matter experts (SMEs) and acquisition personnel, translating technical requirements into actionable documentation and support strategies. The position also supports project execution through monitoring, reporting, and compliance oversight.
Duties:
- Provide technical analysis of project requirements to support long-term system lifecycle strategy and sustainment planning.
- Support system subject matter experts in analyzing system requirements and developing comprehensive support structures using a mix of organic and industry resources.
- Serve as a liaison between technical experts and division acquisition personnel to translate technical requirements into clear documentation for industry support.
- Develop, review, and manage technical and acquisition documentation related to supportability and sustainment.
- Review pre-award and post-award contract documentation to ensure all deliverable requirements are clearly defined and satisfied.
- Provide ongoing project support, including monitoring and reporting on project health for both technical performance and financial execution.
- Identify risks and issues related to supportability, cost, schedule, and performance, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field.
Required Experience:
- seven (7) years' experience in engineering/science management.
- Operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis.
- Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations.
Desired Qualifications:
- 12+ years experience in federal acquisition planning and execution
- Experience in technical analysis, systems engineering support, or project/program support.
- Familiarity with system lifecycle management and supportability concepts.
- Ability to interpret and translate technical requirements into clear, well-structured documentation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and acquisition teams.
- Experience reviewing or supporting contract documentation and deliverables.
- Proficiency with project tracking, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
