PMA-207 requires an Intermediate Level Acquisition Analyst to provide programmatic support with an emphasis on acquisition documentation and processes related to Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) and Supplemental Procurement Initiation Documents (SPIDs). The analyst will support the planning, development, and execution of acquisition strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD, SECNAV, and NAVAIR acquisition policies and procedures.

Duties:

  • Develop, review, and process Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) and Supplemental Procurement Initiation Documents (SPIDs) in accordance with NAVAIR and DoD guidance.

  • Track, manage, and update PID/SPID documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

  • Support the preparation and review of acquisition strategies, acquisition plans, and procurement packages.

  • Assist with coordination and communication between PMA-207, AIR 4.0, AIR 2.0, contracting offices, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of procurements.

  • Maintain acquisition documentation repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with records management requirements.

  • Provide data analysis, metrics, and reporting to support leadership decision-making.

  • Support program reviews, briefings, and milestone documentation as required.

  • Assist in identifying acquisition process risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure acquisition products and deliverables are in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and NAVAIR policies.

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) years of acquisition or program analyst experience in a DoD or government program office environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs) and Supplemental Procurement Initiation Documents (SPIDs).

  • Knowledge of the DoD 5000 series acquisition process and related policies.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related discipline.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting NAVAIR or PMA-207.

  • Familiarity with Navy ERP and NAVAIR procurement systems and workflows.

  • DAU certification in Acquisition or Program Management (Level I/II).

  • Experience coordinating with contracting officers, financial managers, and logistics personnel.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $68,952.32 to $117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
