PMA-264 requires engineering support with emphasis on risk management and configuration management to ensure program requirements are effectively tracked, controlled, and mitigated throughout the system lifecycle. The Risk/Configuration Manager will support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, executing, and monitoring risk management processes, as well as implementing configuration management practices to ensure program and system integrity.
Duties:

Support development, maintenance, and execution of the Risk Management Program in accordance with DoD and NAVAIR guidance.

Identify, analyze, and document risks, track mitigation plans, and provide updates to leadership.

Facilitate risk management meetings and working groups, providing technical input and recommendations.

Develop and maintain risk registers, dashboards, and reporting artifacts for leadership decision-making.

Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), preparing agendas, minutes, and action item tracking.

Assist in the establishment and enforcement of configuration management processes, baselines, and change control procedures.

Maintain configuration management records, documentation, and data repositories.

Support preparation of engineering documentation, technical reports, and program deliverables.

Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure proper configuration status accounting and risk mitigation strategies.

Provide technical recommendations to assist leadership with decision-making regarding risk posture and configuration changes.
Required Experience:

5+ years of relevant engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in risk management and/or configuration management.

Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Experience supporting NAVAIR or Navy program offices.

Familiarity with NAVAIR Risk Management process, configuration management policies, and CCB procedures.

Experience with risk management and configuration tools (e.g., Active Risk Manager, DOORS, JIRA, or equivalent).

DAU coursework in Risk Management, Configuration Management, or Program Management.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $77,571.36-$155,142.72 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
