We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-272 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The candidate will be a member of Common Team providing support to various IPT’s.

The Program Management Analyst, Journeyman applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.  Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.  Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.  Tracks program/project status and schedules.  Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Analyze data to identify risk to cost, schedule and performance and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce risk to products.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:

·        Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives in a timely manner.

·        Researches and analyzes Budget Structures, Spend plans and Program Schedules, to include major acquisition milestones.

·        Works with IPT's to coordinate cross-functional team activities.

·        Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

·        Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.

·        Actively participates in acquisition round table events and activities and provides valuable input.

·        Tracks program/project status and schedules.

·        Drafting and editing SOW Data Calls.

·        A self-starter who can assist with running budget and financial reports from the NAVAIR Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT). 

Required Experience: Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Experience with NAVAIR AMS Suite.

Program Management Tool (PMT) and Acquisition Document support (Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs).

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 

Strong ability to coordinate, facilitate and schedule program level meetings while developing agendas and providing required read-ahead information.

Strong and Efficient critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Required Education: Journeyman - BA/BS degree.

OR

Allowable Substitutions: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

 Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $78,433.26 to $117,64.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
