We are seeking a Business Financial Manager, Senior to support our PMA-205 customer. The selected candidate performs critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success.

Duties:

  • Provides program analysis support for all aspects of the program.
  • Participates as a member of and/or supports the overall program and IPTs.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies policies and procedures for financial planning. 

Desired Skills:

  • Monitoring budget execution for all types of funding appropriations and review decreases of budget controls.
  • Creates and submits budget exhibits in accordance with established budget policies and budget guidelines for the PB, DoN and OSD/OMB budget processes, procedures, and requirements to identify, justify and prepare budge briefs and impact statements for the budget cycles.
  • Interpret Budget guidance and procedures and provide expertise with Research, Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Operations Maintenance Navy (OMN) budgets.
  •  Identify, justify and prepare budget and impact statements that support Trainer Systems mission and program Integrated Product Team (IPT) requirements.
  • Creates and executes program funding and monitors funds status using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Assist with the program office financial and programmatic requirements into the command wide Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).

Required Education: ​Senior: 

  • MA/MS degree​ 

Allowable Substitution:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

OR

  •  Associate degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

OR

  • Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

Required Experience:

  • ​Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. ​

Desired Experience: 

  • 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR.  Proficiency in Navy ERP and CSPT. 

 

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $86,190.40 to $148,678.44 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
