TES, A Precise Systems Company, is currently seeking an Electronic Engineer to support our Fort Huachuca customer. This position is a full-time on customer site opportunity.
Functional Description:
The Electronic Engineer will develop tests, evaluate, operate, maintain, decommission, and/or direct the fabrication, manufacture, and installation of: electronic devices, systems, systems of systems, networks and distributed systems which may or may not involve the involves electromagnetic energy transmission for purposes such as sensor processing, remote sensing, communications, guidance and control, information processing, and defense work. Dependent upon assignment may perform one or more of the following: coordinate with customer, pre-test design, design of experiments, equipment design, write test plans, execute testing, analyze test results, write reports. Significant Field Test assignments and may support E3, Antenna, Environmental, Network, Navigation, RF, and or Cyber Security Testing.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Computer Science, or related field with a course in electromagnetic theory. Or three
(3) or more years of equivalent work experience in the field involving electromagnetic theory and application.
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of electronic devices, systems, networks
- Experience with sensor processing and remote sensing
- Test design, design of experiments, equipment design knowledge
- Effectively communicates in a courteous, professional and tactful manner by e-mail, telephone and in person with co- workers, management, clients and others
- Responds well to questions in a timely manner
- Demonstrates good listening skills
Position may require employee to travel to client sites as necessary.
