We are currently seeking a Submarine Materials Engineer to serve our Line of Effort 3 (LOE3) customer at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington D.C. The mission of LOE 3 is to support current and future naval nuclear shipbuilding through the strategic management of the nuclear shipbuilding industrial base (NSIB).

Duties:

  • Develop weekly report slide of Line of Effort 3 (LOE3) material status for PAPM New Construction and Test
  • Maintain weekly updates to strategic sourcing material database
  • Maintain weekly updates to Strategic Development Funding tracker
  • Develop summaries of In-Depth Supplier Assessments (ISAs) for PMS397C manager
  • Review Cost Reduction Database proposals
  • Represent PMS397C at informal meetings to coordinate DCMA and SUPSHIP supplier oversight
  • Represent PMS397C at meetings of the cross-enterprise Supplier Audit Program


Required Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university/college

 
Required Experience:  2-5 years. Military experience in the submarine community can be used as a substitute.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $66,913.60-$114,354.72 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
