We are currently seeking a DMSMS/Obsolescence Analyst to support our Crane, Indiana customer. The analyst will be required to perform the following duties:
Duties:
- Provide Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) support to identify and assist in mitigating obsolescence threats to airborne systems/subsystems
- Perform market research analysis and parts resolution for obsolete and replacement parts.
- Provide obsolescence research; work with government, industry, and original equipment manufacturers to verify and validate part numbers, part number availability, alternate part numbers, and national stock numbers for electronic parts and other components.
- Support the procurement, receipt, and storage of parts to ensure continued system supportability.
- Maintain a database of DMSMS information
Desired Education:
- Highschool/ vocational school OR BS/BA degree in any field.
Desired Experience:
- 3+ years equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence
- DoD SD-22 guidebook knowledge
- Experience in working with Suppliers and/or Supply Chain engagement
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
