Embedded IT Support Analyst - NMCI

We are currently seeking a Computer User Support Specialists, Journeyman to support PMA-272 in Patuxent River, MD. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, 

• Provide technical assistance to computer users concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
• Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.
• Track and inventory equipment such as computers, monitors, printers, facsimile machines, shredders, and VTC equipment.
• Track required documentation for Program Office Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) seats, Move/Add/Change (MAC) requests, SAAR-N forms, track status and follow-up of MAC orders, and technical support for all troubleshooting and trouble call response.
• Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.  Experience with SharePoint and MS Teams, and other alternate applications.
• Provide information technology support to include maintaining and monitoring the SharePoint database and MS Teams.  Provide support for SharePoint business process workflows and web publishing. Manage accounts and access to collaborative environment 

Required Education: Journeyman - BA/BS degree

Required Experience: Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

Desired Experience: At least 3 years of experience using NMCI, SharePoint and Share Drives; and certified as MS SharePoint Super User.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
