Job Description

Perform part-time work that involves aiding and providing training to our nation’s most elite warfighters. Develop scenarios, fly/train simulator operations, and travel up to 10% on an as needed basis.

You will be a member of a technically diverse team of engineers, technicians, and operational experts that are responsible for providing robust operational training to military personnel.***

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in kinetic strike, close air support and flying operations.
  • Build realistic scenarios that support training to enable live, virtual, and constructive environments and operate the virtual environment to facilitate that training.
  • Operate simulators as an ISR pilot to support training exercises, as required.
  • Help develop operational and tactical training environments that exercise Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures and force development of best practices.
  • Provide after action reports/briefings to leadership on training effectiveness

Required Skills

  • Current or previously qualified Armed ISR Pilot (Unmanned)
  • Certified/Qualified trainer of flying operations
  • Familiarity with DIS-compliant virtual simulators and threat generation applications
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance at time of application

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience
  • Instructor Pilot experience (Examiner/Evaluator preferred)
  • SOF or Special Forces support experience preferred.
  • Minimum 500+ flight hours (combat/combat support time preferred)
  • Experience in planning and training (virtual and live) with respect to Special Operations Forces air integration and close air support mission sets
  • Expertise of Remotely Piloted Aircraft tactics, techniques and procedures and multi-ship operations controlled by Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs)
