Manager - Global BI & Analytics

Job Description

Experienced analytics professional with 3 to 5 years of managerial experience. Responsible for adhering to the organization’s Data and Analytics strategy and supporting the Business Intelligence (BI) needs of stakeholders. This role will be responsible for assessing and improving existing data sources, creating data models, and ensuring data pipelines are developed and maintained appropriately. Must be a passionate BI resource who is focused on helping our organization embrace and adopt to better visibility and information through BI. Skilled in leading teams (Onshore, Off-shore, FTE & Consultants), requirement gathering, managing projects and communicating with various business units. Must be willing to work hands-on with unstructured and structured data and deliver actionable insights from complex data sets.

 

Business Intelligence Leadership:

·       Manage a team of BI Technical Architects and business intelligence analysts focused on providing insights, creating reports, and aiding in business decision-making.

·       Create project trackers and provide periodic updates and status.

·       Triage, Plan and execute projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues.

·       Lend significant subject-matter expertise to enhance projects with insightful takeaways and perspective.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

·       Collaborate with project stakeholders to design and plan initiatives.

·       Ensure that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics.

 

Technical Expertise:

·       Solid understanding of the BI landscape and IT architecture.

·       Previous experience with FP&A and Commercial/Sales and Food Safety data is a plus.

·       Experience with MS Fabric, Snowflake and PowerBI for data visualization and reporting. (Certifications in Snowflake or PowerBI will be considered a plus)

·       Familiarity with Data Lakes and ERP systems.

·       Experience working hands-on with unstructured and structured data.

Languages:

·       SQL & Python

 

People Management:

·       Manage direct reports, providing mentorship and guidance.

·       Must have experience overseeing offshore teams and external analytics vendors/consultants.

 

Data-Driven Culture:

·       Build and foster a data-driven strategy and culture within the organization.

Establish analytics and decision support capabilities that enable data-driven decisions, driving transformation and revenue.

 

Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

 

 


Required Skills

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.

·       3-5 years of supervisory experience.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·       Passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.

Must be Proficient in Snowflake and well-versed in ERPs and relational database concepts

·       Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (CS, MIS, Business).

 

·       Work is generally performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available.

·       Work conditions are typical of an office environment.

·       This role does not require any domestic travel

·       Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds

·       Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.

·       Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Less than 4 hours.
