This role is pivotal in building individually configured, medically necessary mobility products and services that enhance the lives of people with disabilities. As a Production Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality equipment tailored to their unique needs. Pay Range: $17.45/HR to $22.69/HR. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
As a Production Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assemble complex rehab equipment according to the specifications provided by Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs). You will ensure that each piece of equipment is prepared for delivery and matches the order specifications to the letter. In addition to assembly tasks, you will assist with receiving and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Your role is crucial in sustaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in the shop and warehouse. You will also participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation, adhering to Numotion's Leadership Principles, policies, and federal regulations.
Customer service is a top priority at Numotion, and as a Production Technician, you will be expected to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers, offering solutions to concerns and focusing on customer satisfaction. Your duties will evolve as needed to meet organizational needs and management directives. This full-time, mid-career position is located at our Sacramento - Raley Blvd facility and is classified as Regular/At-Will employment. Required Skills
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of one year of relevant mechanical experience
- Basic computer proficiency (Word Processing, Email, Excel, Internet)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Experience with assembly of medical equipment (preferred)
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory management (preferred)
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Required Experience
- 1+ to 2 years of experience in a mechanical or technical role
- Experience in the assembly of complex equipment, preferably in the medical field
- Prior experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Experience with inventory counts and reconciliation
- A track record of adhering to safety standards and regulations
- Experience in providing customer service in a technical or production setting
- Experience working with a diverse team and contributing to an inclusive work environment
- History of compliance with company policies and federal regulations
- Experience with physical work requirements such as frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers, and the ability to move and reach with arms and hands
- Previous experience in roles requiring the lifting of heavy objects up to 50 pounds
