JOB PURPOSE:

The Parts Planner & Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing part inventory to ensure their availability for service operations and in the future, new rehab orders. The planner will be responsible for the accurate part setups in D365; which enables automated part management and replenishment. The Planner will use data-driven forecasts, analyze stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers and the Procurement team to ensure stocking levels are optimized. The Inventory Specialist component of this role will focus on onsite audits & staff training to help improve the technical and process competency of D365 users.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Complete and monitor correct part number set-ups in D365 to enable the supply planning model to operate effectively.

       Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and manage reorder points to maintain optimal inventory levels. 

       Coordinate with Purchasing Agents on restocking of parts and to address shipping delays and backorder issues.

       Analyze inventory data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements. 

       Work with Zone Inventory Managers (ZIMs) to perform onsite audits & training sessions focused on maximizing local employee proficiency in D365/warehouse operations.

       Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their inventory needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

       Collaborate with team members to share best practices, provide support, and ensure that all inventory-related tasks are completed efficiently. This includes participating in team meetings, contributing to a positive team environment, and supporting colleagues as needed.

PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS:

§  Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or kneeling when in the warehouse.

§  Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and/or lift/move up to 50 pounds and pull/push equipment heavier than 100 pounds at time.

§  Frequent use of hand and fingers for firm grasping and fine manipulation.

§  Travel is required, up to 25% of time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

§  Three (3) years of supply chain/inventory management experience.

§  Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet).

§  MS D365 Inventory and Warehouse Management module expertise.

§  Excellent organizational and time management skills with focus on set priorities

§  Minimum years of experience required.
