JOB PURPOSE:
The Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) Engineer will work closely with a team of Developers and key business staff on the development of new and existing systems. They will be heavily involved in all aspects of the application design and deployment (database, web, client apps, services, and system interfaces) and will have an important role in helping to make critical technical and design decisions during the development process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and work with current CI/CD pipeline development methodology and recommend best practices for improvement.
- Own and drive implementation of hybrid cloud capabilities, including establishing design and engineering patterns.
- Design, develop and implement cost effective, scalable solutions on best fit technology.
- Manage the technical relationship across teams, including proof-of-concept work and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
- Research and present new technologies and design patterns.
- Translate technical requirements for development teams to action.
- Aid project teams in requirements, conceptual and functional designs and code reviews and work estimates and deliverables.
- Work across functions and projects to ensure we have a solid Azure architecture.
- Provide Second/Third level support for issues with compute, network, storage

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Three (3) plus years’ experience in software development or systems/infrastructure roles.
- Two (2) plus years designing and delivering Azure infrastructure.
- One (1) plus year experience with: API Management, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Function Apps, and VMs.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
- Ability to create functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, and assist with other typical project deliverables.
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Experience in excerpting metrics and results from CI/CD tools.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of migrations to cloud solutions.
- Familiar with C#, HTML5, .NET, JS/TS, Angular.
- Experience with Azure cost management.
- Experience with UiPath or similar RPA technology.
- Experience in, and understanding of, data and information management as it relates to OLTP and big data trends and issues within businesses.
- Experience developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience with on-prem infrastructure including storage, compute, database, and networking.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
