Pay Range: $66,000 - $90,750. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

JOB PURPOSE:

Design, develop, and maintain a compensation strategy for the organization to ensure competitive, cost-effective, and legally compliant compensation programs and practices.  Create pay ranges based on external market data, and conduct annual compensation reviews of job levels, benchmarking, and updating job descriptions.  In conjunction with management, performing data analyses and formulating recommendations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

§  Partner with the Compensation Manager in the design and rollout of our compensation philosophy.

§  Maintain updated job descriptions and works with HR Generalists to ensure accuracy.

§  Conduct annual compensation reviews of pay ranges, perform data analyses and formulate recommendations.

§  Assists in the development and ongoing maintenance of salary range structures, ensuring alignment with the Numotion pay philosophy and balance with external market competitiveness.

§  Establish internal equity by evaluating and ranking jobs.

§  Participate in annual compensation surveys to establish external equity.

§  Collaborates with others to design and adjust salary structures and compensation packages and develop policies and procedures.

§  Complete compensation reports by gathering and analyzing pay data.

§  Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements.

§  Review FLSA position status and ensure proper classification.

§  Update annual bonus program eligibility list and distribute off-cycle bonus letters to newly eligible employees.

§  Assist in guiding supervisors through merit raise and incentive guidelines by considering the following when recommending pay raises and incentives; performance levels, market pay rates, internal equity and budget.

§  Promote an understanding of compensation philosophies, practices, and administration with the HR team and across all levels of the organization.

§  Support the creation of compensation materials and training to illustrate and communicate compensation related information to organization. 

§  Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission. 

§  Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.

§  Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times.  Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

§  Bachelor's degree in a related area strongly preferred or equivalent work experience.

§  Minimum skills or certifications required.

o   Strong knowledge base of variable pay and job structures

o   Strong analytical skills: ability to collect and analyze data and present findings (complex formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

o   Effective communicator and ability to interact with all levels of organization

o   Proficient in Microsoft Excel

o   Familiar with DOL and FLSA laws, including state specific

§  3+ years of compensation experience

 

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

§  Familiarity with Compensation Market Pricing Tools; PayFactors or similar a plus

§  Change management experience with larger scale pay practice transformations preferred

§  Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data and generate reports

§  Ability to work overtime as needed.
