Numotion, the nation's leader in Complex Rehabilitation Technology, is seeking a dedicated and driven Medical Supply Account Manager (MSAM) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, regular/at-will position is based in Philadelphia - Keystone Dr and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities. As an MSAM at Numotion, you will play a crucial role in developing new business within untapped markets, focusing on selling medical supplies such as Catheters, Incontinence, Ostomy, and Wound Care Products. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting new leads, educating potential clients on Numotion's mobility solutions, and establishing strong relationships with decision-makers at clinical accounts. You will also collaborate closely with Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) within Numotion to ensure the best product recommendations for our clients. To excel in this role, you must be adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, as time management is essential. You will work independently, with minimal supervision, requiring a high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm. The position involves significant travel, with about 60% of the day spent on the road covering a large geographic territory. Required Skills

  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Proficiency in cold calling, referrals, and regular follow-up
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Strong sales experience, including strategic territory and account planning
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Creativity and independence in creating and giving presentations
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
  • Understanding of Medicare Documentation (preferred)

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering (preferred; work experience may substitute for a degree)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outside sales role
  • Background in Urology, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), Home Health, Pharmaceutical, or Wound Care fields (highly preferred)
  • Proven track record of successful sales and account management
  • Experience with strategic territory and account planning
  • Familiarity with the medical supply industry and its regulatory environment
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business needs

 

Prefer candidates reside between Philadelphia and North New Jersey to allow for territory coverage.
