Position Overview:
The Warehouse Technician is a full-time, entry-level position based at our Sioux Falls, SD (S Cliff Ave) location. This role is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and plays a critical part in ensuring that our customers receive the mobility products and assistive technologies they depend on in a timely and accurate manner. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and managing all inventory-related activities within the location. This includes, but is not limited to, the timely receiving of shipments, staging and put-away of inventory within the warehouse, cleaning and maintenance of fleet equipment, conducting physical inventory counts, and accurately processing and reporting inventory transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive all purchase orders and validate them against packing slips within 24 hours of receipt to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all items within the warehouse are properly tagged, labeled, and stored in accordance with Numotion standards and safety guidelines.
- Manage return authorizations in a timely manner, including requesting, processing returns, and reporting outcomes accurately.
- Complete all inventory transactions within the company's Operating System, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date records at all times.
- Clean and organize the warehouse consistently to meet Numotion's established standards for safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Perform waste management duties including breaking down boxes, removing pallets, and disposing of packaging materials appropriately.
- Sanitize and maintain fleet equipment, including rental, demo, and loaner items, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition and ready for use.
- Provide guidance on proper inventory control procedures within the warehouse to support team compliance and operational excellence.
- Adhere to employee and customer confidentiality requirements and comply with Numotion's internal policies as well as applicable federal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers at all times, offering solutions for customer concerns and maintaining customer service as a top priority.
- Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform all job duties with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management, understanding that responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is an hourly, full-time position with a duration expected to exceed one year. Numotion offers competitive compensation packages including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and life insurance. No per diem is associated with this role.

Required Skills

- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull equipment exceeding 100 lbs.
- Ability to perform prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling in a warehouse environment
- Fine motor skills including manipulation capabilities and firm grasping with hands and fingers
- Ability to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements
Required Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
- 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related operational environment preferred
- Experience in supply chain or inventory management is a plus
- Prior experience receiving and validating shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Experience using warehouse management systems or similar operating systems for inventory transactions
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Experience handling and maintaining equipment, including sanitization and basic upkeep of fleet or similar assets
- Experience managing return authorizations or similar reverse logistics processes is advantageous
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience providing customer service in an operational or warehouse setting is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to follow company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
