Numotion, the nation's leading provider of Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT), is seeking a dedicated Seating Technician to join our team in Roanoke at our Peters Creek Rd location. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing life-changing mobility solutions that enable them to actively participate in everyday life.
As a Seating Technician at Numotion, you will work closely with our Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) team to ensure the successful assembly, delivery, and fitting of Complex Rehabilitation Technology equipment. Your primary focus will be on meeting clients' mobility needs and functional goals while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This full-time, regular position requires up to 75% travel, allowing you to directly impact the lives of our clients across the region.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting ATPs with equipment assembly and delivery as needed. You will assemble and fit CRT equipment with precision, ensuring that client goals are met with minimal oversight. Your technical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting product issues and collaborating with ATPs to develop effective solutions. Additionally, you will maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in both the shop and warehouse areas.
Vehicle maintenance will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that delivery vehicles are kept clean and in safe working order for all operations. You will assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing business accounts and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with Numotion policies. Safety compliance is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all standard safety procedures and regulations.
As part of your professional development, you will attend required company training and development sessions to stay current with industry standards and best practices. Working closely with ATPs and customers, you will ensure that equipment solutions align perfectly with client needs, providing outstanding customer service at all times. Your ability to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction will be critical to our success.
Problem-solving skills will be essential as you quickly address any concerns raised by customers during deliveries or fittings, seeking guidance from the ATP as necessary. You will utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to maintain integrity, compliance, and company values in all aspects of your work. Maintaining confidentiality in all employee and customer matters and complying with all federal and organizational policies and regulations will be expected.

Required Experience
- High School diploma/GED required
- Minimum of one year of related mechanical or electrical experience (alternative to education requirement)
- Valid State Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Background in technical assembly preferred
- Experience with mobility equipment or medical devices preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Capability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Experience working in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Background in process improvement preferred
