JOB PURPOSE: 

The Lead Service and Sales Technician plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through expert installation, repair, and preparation of products for delivery. As a subject matter expert (SME), this individual will handle complex technical inquiries and contribute to key initiatives aimed at enhancing service and repair operations. This role also supports sales efforts, including quoting and estimating, with a focus on identifying in-field upsell and cross-sell opportunities. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and technical excellence is essential.

The pay range for this position is $24.40-$31.72 Hourly. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Conduct in-home assessments and site evaluations; create detailed technical drawings and written quotes for commercial and retail projects. 

  • Execute all technical and physical aspects of jobs both in-shop and on-site. 

  • Monitor daily job status to ensure all parts, approvals, and preparations are complete. 

  • Support the Technical Operations Manager with shop operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and organization. 

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and service issues using available resources and manufacturer guidance. 

  • Assist in maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment; ensure a clean and safe work environment. 

  • Deliver outstanding customer service in all interactions, maintaining strong relationships with clients and referral sources. 

  • Educate customers and caregivers on proper equipment use and maintenance. 

  • Complete all job-related documentation accurately and promptly. 

  • Participate in ongoing training and stay current with industry trends and best practices. 

  • Continuously improve processes related to receiving, delivery, installation, and reporting. 

  • Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform the job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.  

  • Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations. 

  • Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations.  Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

  • High school diploma or GED. 

  • 3–5 years of experience in a service or technical role. 

  • Strong customer service orientation and a positive, team-focused attitude. 

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience in the mobility industry is highly desirable. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative. 

  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion for customers. 

  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
