This role ensures a highly curated, best-in-class product assortment that reflects the expectations of discerning consumers seeking independence, comfort, and style—not just medical necessity. This role ensures the right products are available online, at the right time, in the right quantities, and presented in a way that optimizes the customer’s experience and maximizes revenue and profitability.
This position combines trend forecasting, digital merchandising best practices, a deep understanding of the premium DME customer to deliver revenue growth, strong margins, an elevated online shopping experience, and can leverage analytics to inform decisions in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The role will collaborate with teams across digital, sales, customer service, compliance, and key manufactures to maintain a high-functioning e-commerce environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Merchandising Operations & Product Catalog Management

- Ensure accurate product listings—including pricing, inventory availability, specifications, imagery, and ADA-compliant descriptions.
- Maintain product categorization, tagging, filtering, and site navigation logic to ensure easy product discovery.
- Support seasonal, promotional, and feature merchandising (e.g. homepage rotations, featured collections, lifestyle bundles).
Product Onboarding & SKU Maintenance
- Lead & execute product onboarding processes including product hierarchy, attribute mapping, and classification: collect vendor data, input into product information management (PIM) or ERP tools, QA listings, and coordinate go-live timing with marketing and sales.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to track product updates, phase-outs, and discontinued items.
- Ensure high standards of product data integrity and compliance with premium positioning and brand guidelines.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely onboarding of new products and accurate data exchange (pricing, specs, UDI, etc.).
- Work closely with Regulatory/Compliance teams to ensure all products meet applicable state and federal DME regulations.
Execution of Promotions & Site Merchandising
- Implement promotional pricing, coupon codes, featured collections, and sale campaigns in the e-commerce platform.
- Update product badges (e.g. “New,” “Bestseller,” “Limited Stock”), banners, and homepage callouts as directed by marketing calendars.
- Own online product presentation: copy, images, taxonomy, categorization, cross-sells, and upsells.
- Optimize category pages and landing pages for conversion and usability, using data-driven insights and A/B testing where possible.
- Provide input on pricing and promotional levers that balance competitiveness with margin requirements.
- Partner & coordinate with marketing and creative teams on assets for product launches, category campaigns, or email integrations.
- Maintain a merchandising calendar with launch dates, refreshes, and promotional deadlines.
Inventory Coordination & Product Availability
- Monitor inventory availability and lead times in coordination with inventory planning and warehouse or drop-ship vendors.
- Remove or adjust product visibility based on stock levels or fulfillment readiness.
- Flag slow-moving or out-of-stock items and recommend merchandising adjustments.
Reporting, Data & Performance Analytics
- Pull and review weekly/monthly sales and merchandising reports to identify top performers and areas for optimization; product, category, and vendor performance KPIs, including sales, margin, turn, returns, and conversion rate.
- Analyze sales data, trends, and customer behavior to make informed product lifecycle decisions (launch, continuation, markdown, and discontinuation)
- Identify gaps and opportunities using tools such as Google Analytics, e-commerce dashboards, and ERP reports.
- Deliver weekly/monthly reports on e-commerce merchandise performance and propose action plans.
