Seating Technician
Numotion, the nation's leading provider of Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT), is seeking a dedicated Seating Technician to join our team. As a Seating Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with individually configured mobility products and services. Your work will enable our clients to actively participate in everyday life, thereby maintaining Numotion's reputation as an industry leader. The Seating Technician is responsible for completing CRT equipment assemblies and deliveries, including fittings and modifications as needed, to ensure that the functional goals and outcomes of our clients are met. This role requires collaboration with the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and contributes directly to fulfilling Numotion's vision. You will be expected to maintain client and referral satisfaction, assess and troubleshoot product issues, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all documentation is accurately completed per Numotion policy. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining delivery vehicles, attending company in-services training sessions, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires up to 75% travel and is based in Knoxville-N Hall of Fame. As a full-time, regular/at-will employee, you will be offered a competitive compensation package, including benefits and a salary ranging from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience. Required Skills
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent educational background
- Valid State Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in listening, organization, and priority setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Quick decision-making skills
- Commitment to providing best-in-class customer service
- Problem-solving capabilities and a knack for identifying improvement opportunities
- General knowledge of products within the CRT industry

Required Experience
- 1+ to 2 years of related mechanical or electrical experience
- Experience in assembly of equipment and product troubleshooting
- Experience in delivering and fitting CRT equipment
- Experience in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and safety
- Experience in customer service and relationship management
- Familiarity with documentation practices and compliance with company policies
- Experience in collaborating with clinical teams to meet customer functional goals
- Experience in the CRT industry is preferred but not required
- Experience with travel and field service work
- Strong Experience in use of technology (IPhone, laptop)
