Numotion, the nation's leading provider of Complex Rehabilitation Technology, is seeking a Director of Operations Order Processing to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive the mobility products and services they need to participate actively in everyday life. As the Director of Operations Order Processing, you will oversee the daily operations of our Customer Care Coordinators across multiple locations, ensuring that order processing and internal support needs are met or exceeded. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining our industry-leading position by driving customer satisfaction and retention through best-in-class service. You will be responsible for hiring, developing, and managing your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your role will involve cross-functional coordination to ensure the quality and timely procurement and delivery of equipment, managing Orders in Process (OIP) meetings, and maintaining processing efficiency. You will also address and resolve escalations, direct quality assistance for customers, and ensure compliance with company and government regulations. As a leader, you will implement Numotion best practices and drive operational processes within your territory, utilizing reporting databases to optimize business outcomes. Your partnership with cross-functional leaders will be crucial in delivering revenue goals. This full-time, regular/at-will position is based in Chicago-Eisenhower Lane S and offers a competitive salary range of $90,000.00 to $120,000.00, paid bi-weekly, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, disability, a 401k, and life insurance. Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Minimum of five years of operational work experience and/or training
  • Minimum of two years of leadership development experience, including leadership, mentoring, and/or coaching
  • Working knowledge of service order processing experience
  • Basic understanding of financial reporting
  • Knowledge of funding and payer requirements
  • Knowledge of complex rehab equipment and products
  • Prior experience working in durable medical equipment industry
  • Previous experience with healthcare accreditation process and business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to act as a change agent within a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple business priorities to meet objectives
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving challenging goals
  • Forward-thinking approach, connecting trends to actions
  • Sense of urgency in resolving issues

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant operational work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role with responsibilities for team development, mentoring, and coaching
  • Experience in service order processing within a related industry
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and budget management
  • Understanding of funding, payer requirements, and the healthcare industry, specifically in complex rehab equipment
  • Experience in the durable medical equipment industry is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare accreditation processes and business requirements
  • Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing new processes in a dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in developing strategies to achieve business objectives and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a history of handling customer concerns with urgency and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in addressing all levels within an organization
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, further education or certifications in management or healthcare administration is a plus
