Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Manager - Predictive Analytics.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Manager Applied AI . NYULH is consistently ranked to deliver some of the highest quality care in the U.S., and has a history of embracing new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). As a Product Manager within Medical Center IT, you will oversee the strategic management of AI products built to improve clinical care or the day-to-day operations of our healthcare organization. You will assist with the scoping, development, integration, and evaluation of new AI products and features to improve clinical quality or efficiency. 
This position requires someone who is passionate about driving outcomes and leading the technology supporting those outcomes, who can combine strategic vision with execution, and who will deliver superior results consistently. You will be expected to work closely with our AI experts and report progress to various Steering Committees, interfacing with Executive Sponsors and key Stakeholders across departments. This position will serve as the critical bridge between strategic goals and tangible solutions, translating AI requests into strategic roadmaps and refining them into applications that deliver measurable impact towards institutional success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing stakeholders at all levels and driving results to ensure timely deliverables through cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns the development and grooming of a product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for AI products and ensures alignment with the institution's Digital and AI Strategies. 
  • Establishing business requirements and acceptance criteria, and documenting sign-off from stakeholders.   
    Intaking new AI feature requests and ensuring prioritization within your roadmap while proactively identifying new opportunities for impactful AI products. 
  • Partner with clinical operations, business, and IT teams including data science, solution and AI engineering, UX design, change management, IT Security etc.) to ensure your roadmap is both feasible and optimized for impactful development. 
  • Defines communication strategy for each AI product and its impacted stakeholders. 
    Champion user feedback integration ensuring that key insights from end users shape planning and refinement of AI tools.  
  • Change Management
  • Ability to increase user adoption and conduct business stakeholder analysis  
    Understand and adhere to HIPAA compliance guidelines.  
  • Adopt our institutions processes for project management, change management, and responsible use of AI.  

Minimum Qualifications:


To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience working as part of a digital product team.
Experience working as part of an agile product development team.
Experience facilitating the digital product development lifecycle (e.g., product vision, feature prioritization, documenting and driving requirements, and product testing, launch, analytics, and maintenance).
Demonstrated practical application of advanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to apply judgment within defined parameters.
Experience integrating user and stakeholder feedback to shape products and features.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree. 
Hands-on experience with AI development or validation.
Familiarity with integrating AI into software products.
Experience mentoring software developers or AI engineers with a strong product-oriented perspective, cultivating solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
Experience supervising both FTEs and Contractors.
Experience working with vendors and contract management.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $121,792.22 - $148,707.19 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
