We are currently looking for a Regional Service Lead to join our Service team in providing expert solutions for our industrial and commercial customers. In this role, you’ll help to oversee our field superintendent and service teams throughout your designated region.
Job Duties:
· Provide direction and allocation of work for Regional Service Team.
· Ensure all projects and repairs are managed to estimate and within margin.
· Responsible for staffing, onboarding, evaluation, and training initiatives for Regional Service Team.
· Review reported repair needs, ensure proper scope recommendations and estimate project costs.
· Manages and coaches Regional Service Team.
· Establishes and oversees Regional Service Team’s budget P&L.
· Provides revenue forecasting and revenue achievement plans to meet regional goals.
· Provides leadership to Regional Service Team in maintaining budget control, schedule, work order management, client satisfaction, as well as company culture.
· Provides support to Sales & Estimating to ensure Service offerings are achievable, profitable, and scoped properly to all regional customers.
· Partners with Sales & Estimating to attain or surpass regional revenue growth initiatives.
· Traveling as required with all teams for client interaction, sales delivery, project oversite, or dispute resolution as required.
· Guaranteeing regional customer growth and retention, by proactive personal involvement
· Responsible for employees’ KPIs for Regional Service Team’s alignment with company goals and to ensure operating procedures are met.
· Strategically plans regional fleet, tools, equipment, and material needs, and relays needs to Senior Management
· Ensures safety, compliance, and risk management guidelines are met or exceeded.
· Partners with Accounting, Business Services Leader, & Director of Service to oversee all regional costing, invoicing, collections, revenue forecasting and budget control.
· Providing weekly reporting to Director of Service and VP of Operations on status of region.
· Partners with IT for implementation or upgrading software and its outputs.
· Timely client dispute resolution that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations while maintaining department fiscal goals.
· Provides leadership, planning, and execution of major weather event response.
· Actively seek out and build effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners that reflect and support company core values.
· Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or equivalent years of experience)
· Minimum of 5 years of management experience in commercial roofing
· Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading a large field service organization
· Experience managing P&L responsibilities and strong understanding of service pricing to meet revenue goals.
· Must be able to effectively communicate to all level of individuals, both written and orally
· Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Microsoft office)
· Ability to create spreadsheets with basic formulas
· Ability to analyze financial reporting and act to improve department efforts
· Expertise in roofing codes and manufacturer warranty requirements
Work is performed in a hybrid, general office environment. Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds is required. Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads and copy equipment essential. Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff. Manual dexterity required for accessing filing cabinets in various locations.
Travel may be up to 25% depending on customer needs and visits to sites/customers.
When on a job site, work is primarily performed in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold).
Must be able to climb a ladder
Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Operating heavy equipment and lifting heavy materials occasionally.
