We are actively searching for a Lead Roofing Service Repair Technician to join our service team in the Greater Tampa Bay area.

 

In this role, you’ll lead repair efforts and work closely with an Assistant Field Technician and the regional sales representative to investigate and deliver quality solutions to our clients.

Candidates should have experience with commercial roofing and a valid driver's license.

Job Duties:

  • Find and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
  • Perform Service repairs and small contract jobs as needed 
  • Perform inspections with minor preventative maintenance repairs 
  • Assisting in all storm related events to either participate in repairs or supervision
  • Responsible for learning and operating service software (FCS)                             
  • Ability to provide accurate information into service software (FCS)
  • Possess and develop advanced knowledge of all roof systems and roof system components
  • Perform quality repairs with no callbacks due to workmanship
  • Ability to identify and collect data for proposed scopes of work
  • Demonstrate understanding of warranty and non-warranty repair types

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial roofing experience as an installer or service technician
  • Experience as a roofing foreman preferred 
  • Ability to obtain OSHA, Man-lift, and Forklift certifications
  • Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
  • Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
  • Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
  • A good driving record is essential for this position
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
