Required Skills

What you will do:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Organizational Health team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth that reflects our customer-focused mindset. Conduct regular team meetings, provide clear feedback, and facilitate performance evaluations to ensure alignment with team, organizational, and customer-impact goals. 

  • Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Organizational Health function, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices. Actively lead and execute select initiatives from design through implementation and manage systems to track projects and initiatives to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Continuously streamline processes to improve effectiveness, proactively resolve operational challenges, and align improvements with both employee and customer outcomes. 

  • People Relations & Issue Resolution: Support complex or urgent employee relations matters. Facilitate the prompt and collaborative resolution of issues, working with leadership and various business units. Provide guidance and support to the OH team and other stakeholders to effectively address concerns and promote excellent communication organization-wide. Stay current on industry trends and employment laws to ensure the organization remains compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations 

  • Culture Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture that drives both employee satisfaction and contribution and customer loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor, providing coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on HR-related topics. Ensure Organizational Health strategies are aligned with overall business goals, enterprise priorities, and core company values. 

  • People Programs Leadership: Drive value-added talent solutions for key initiatives, including but not limited to compensation, employee development and engagement, performance management, recruitment and enterprise-level workforce planning. Partner with leadership to ensure workforce planning is fully integrated into our enterprise and strategic planning process and supports long-term organizational and customer needs. 

  • Project ownership and additional duties as assigned: Personally lead select high-impact projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet both organizational and customer-focused objectives. Additional duties as assigned. 


Required Experience

What you will need (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree AND minimum of six (6) years’ experience in a Human Resource position OR a combination of education and experience.  

  • A minimum of three (3) years of HR leadership experience


Preferred

  • Current human resource certification (PHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, etc) 

  • Experience in people relations, employee relations, and/or labor relations 

 


Job location: This position requires regular presence at the Helena, Montana office. 


Compensation and Benefits: Pay range MGR. Starting salary for this exempt position begins at $96,600 - $120,800. The maximum of the salary range is $145,000.
