As a Network Engineer I at Montana State Fund, you'll have the exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the administration and maintenance of our vital technology ecosystem. This includes our unified communications (UC) platform, Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), network transport, cyber-security, and cloud environments. Required Skills
What you will do:
- Audio/Video & Cloud Phone System Management: Provide support and administration of Montana State Fund unified communications (UC), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), and audio/video (AV) environments and solutions. Monitor systems/service configuration to ensure integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
- Network Security & Cloud Infrastructure Management: Under guidance of the Network Engineer III, designs, implements, administers, and maintains the Montana State Fund data network, cyber-security, and cloud infrastructure. Maintains and monitors the on-premises and cloud networking and disaster recovery environment. Monitors system/service configuration to ensure integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Identifies, tests, and releases network transport, UC, and cybersecurity services and system changes.
- System Administration & Maintenance: Under guidance of the Network Engineer III, provides administrative functions (maintains L7/cloud/WAF firewalls, network configurations, audio-video conferencing, incident response, cloud collaboration, and contact center). Installs software solutions, applies service policies, performs upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves infrastructure problems for the unified communications, cloud, cyber-security, and data network environment. Troubleshoots network, cloud transport, UC, and CCaaS-related problems and issues. Interacts with personnel across the company and externally to assist with network transport, cyber-security, and UC performance-related issues.

Required Experience
What you will need (minimum qualifications):
- Required:
- Associate or technical degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer/Data Science or related IT field.
AND a minimum of (4) years experience in an IT technical role, OR an equivalent combination of education & experience

Job location: This position requires regular presence at the Helena, Montana office.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay range 3A: Starting salary for the position begins at $71,600-$89,400. The maximum pay is $107,300 per year. This is an exempt position.
