Noblis MSD is seeking Electrical Engineers to support U.S. Navy ship systems, for both new acquisition and in-service ship programs.  Responsibilities include:

- Participating in the Systems Engineering Process to include requirements development, design, testing, and fielding

- Perform testing and troubleshooting of hardware/software components in both a lab-based and shipboard environment

- Provide technical representation and oversight in support of ship control system installations and upgrades

- Develop, review, and update technical documentation to include systems requirements documentation, drawings/schematics, test plans/procedures, maintenance procedures, operating procedures, and technical manuals

 - Up to 25% travel

Multiple openings range from junior to senior level engineers.

Required Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

Proficiency using test and diagnostic test tools

Basic technical writing ability

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one upon position acceptance) required

Required Experience

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering

At least 3+ years of professional experience in the field of electrical or electronics engineering and design

Prior experience troubleshooting hardware/software systems

Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Prior experience writing test procedures and/or conducting testing

Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and/or Versa Module Eurocard (VME) a plus

Prior experience with Navy ship systems a plus.
