Overview of Responsibilities: Completes the full-cycle recruitment process for a wide range of organizational roles to attract and hire high-quality talent. Collaborates with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver a seamless candidate experience

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment Execution: Executes the full recruitment lifecycle from to deliver timely, high-quality new hires.  Partners with internal stakeholders to prepare and present job offers that position the organization as an employer of choice. Serves as an ambassador for the employer brand to reinforce MSGCU’s culture and values throughout the hiring process. Stays current on industry trends to provide actionable insights to HR leadership.  
  • Candidate Sourcing and Assessment: Builds and establishes a strong talent pipeline through networking, career fairs, team member referrals, online advertisers, social media, candidate databases, universities and community outreach. Assesses candidates against defined job requirements through phone interviews, pre-placement assessments, and recommends qualified candidates to hiring manager for interviews.  Maintains accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to support compliance and a consistent hiring experience.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partners with hiring managers to conduct scoping sessions to understand workforce needs and recommend qualified candidates. Coordinates interview schedules between all involved parties and facilitates feedback sessions to help support hiring manager decision making. Ensures hiring teams use consistent and effective interviewing techniques and retains proper documentation. Provides guidance and troubleshooting support to hiring managers on applicant tracking system (ATS) processes.

Experience and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field preferred.
  • 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience required, preferably within a financial institution or credit union.
  • Experience using Rival Recruit (SilkRoad) or Workflow preferred. 

Working Conditions:

  • Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors.
  • Required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require.
  • Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk.
  • This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salaries are just the starting point for MSGCU team members. Generous health benefits, vacation time, retirement plan contributions and discounts on loans and phone service also come with the job.

  • Base salary starts at $62,500 / year
  • Medical, dental and vision on your first day! You can choose the most generous Health Savings Account (HSA)-eligible medical plan with no monthly premium for you (and your family)
  • If you are at least 21 years old, you will receive a 3% contribution from MSGCU, and a 100% match for the next 7% you contribute to your 401(k)
  • You will enjoy 12 paid holidays and up to 120 hours of PTO your first year of service (pro-rated based on start date)
