As a Service technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, installation and cleaning of portable sanitation equipment such as sleep trailers, shower trailers, restroom trailers, and shower trailers at the shop or in the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Service Technicians conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sleep trailers, restroom trailers, and shower trailers
AC Maintenance on refrigerator trailers
Work with PEX plumbing – installation and repair of this type of plumbing
Work with schedule 40 and schedule 80 plumbing – installation and repair of this type of plumbing
Installation and repair of general plumbing items
Repair and maintenance of LP gas systems
Installation, repair and troubleshooting of general 110-volt and 12-volt electrical items
Conduct daily inspections while cleaning portable equipment, service vehicles and report deficiencies to Service Supervisor or Director of Operations. Also report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions
Drive service vehicles (pulling bumper pull trailers or driving truck only)
Maintain contact with logistics to receive additional instructions, changes to deliveries going out
Service Technicians follow the Company’s safety guidelines, properly securing equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist operations personnel when necessary to load and unload equipment
Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations
Special /other projects as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and understand documents
Ability to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor
Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition
Ability to bend, stoop, and squat
Ability to maintain workloads that may include daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift
Ability to pass and hold DOT medical card
Ability to travel
Tools – ability to provide your own tools for tasks at hand
