This position is responsible for the maintenance, installation and cleaning of portable sanitation equipment such as restroom trailers, shower trailers, water systems and portable toilets at the shop or in the field. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Conduct routine maintenance on restroom trailers, shower trailers, water systems and portable toilets
2. Work with PEX plumbing – installation and repair of this type of plumbing
3. Work with schedule 40 and schedule 80 plumbing – installation and repair of this type of plumbing
4. Installation and repair of general plumbing items
5. Installation, repair and troubleshooting of general electrical items
6. Conduct daily inspections while cleaning portable equipment, service vehicles and report deficiencies to Service Supervisor or Director of Operations. Also report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions
7. Drive service vehicles (pulling bumper pull trailers or driving truck only)
8. Maintain contact with logistics to receive additional instructions, changes to deliveries going out
9. Follow the Company’s safety guidelines, properly securing equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist operations personnel when necessary to load and unload equipment
10. Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations
11. Special/other projects as assigned by management
12. Keep accurate inventory of all necessary products and supplies
13. Provide weekly progress report to manager
14. Update equipment availability in asset database

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Ability to read and understand documents
3. Ability to carry/lift up to 75
4. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor
5. Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition
6. Ability to bend, stoop, and squat
7. Ability to maintain workloads that may include daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift
8. Ability to pass and hold DOT medical card
9. Ability to travel
10. Tools – ability to provide your own tools for tasks at hand
