Material Handler - 5 month assigment (Queretaro, Mexico)

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is seeking someone who is responsible for meeting company standards in quality, safety, security, accuracy and productivity of the warehouse in Mexico (receiving, manufacturing, or shipping). A certain degree of creativity and initiative is required. 

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Logistics Activities

• Pick and pack orders for shipment and manufacturing as needed. Check and verify orders for shipping and manufacturing.
• Move products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate locations according to storage specifications.
• Perform cycle counts.
  
  Material Handling Activities
• Operate materials handling equipment
• Move product, either receipt, pick or, pack via hand held bar code scanner.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and damage.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift equipment.
• Dock duties: Loading and unloading freight
  
  Support Activities
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
• Perform other job functions as assigned.

Required Skills

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with order picking
• Must have prior experience with an RF Scanner
• Must have prior experience operating Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers, sit down and stand up forklifts

• Experience with SAP data entry
