Key Responsibilities

  • Take direct, hands-on ownership of People Relations for Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and Indonesia — personally handling day-to-day employee relations matters and acting as the senior escalation point — and hold second-level responsibility for India and Vietnam, whose HR leader reports to this role, advising management on confident, sound resolution across culturally diverse markets

  • Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting and selection for open positions across APJ, and plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward Company goals
  • Ensure HR policies, practices, and reporting comply with local labor law and government requirements in each APJ jurisdiction
  • Administer benefits programs (life, health, dental insurance, leave entitlements, and employee assistance) and maintain accurate personnel records and employee statistics for statutory reporting in each market
  • Develop, review, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring timely communication of updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Support and advance management training and development initiatives across the region, providing one-on-one coaching to managers as needed
  • Champion employee engagement across the region by fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture, open and transparent communication, and a foundation of mutual trust between employees and management
  • Manage employee separations, represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations, and handle immigration in accordance with each country's employment law
  • Lead HR aspects of acquisition integrations within the region
  • Utilize AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, documentation automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards
