The VP, Professional Services is responsible for the recruiting, management and career development of PS, for ensuring quality services delivery in all consulting engagements, and for the development of new services opportunities in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple groups of Professional Services resources through subordinate leaders with minimal oversight from the RVP.
- Champion best practices and knowledge sharing
- Drive strategic recruiting and growth of the consulting function at the regional level
- Have accountability for workforce planning, account management, prioritization, and forecasting
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with regional sales management, and support license sales by driving the development and closure of corresponding services opportunities
- Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with partners
- Support and implement regional and corporate initiatives
- Define, evolve, and sustain world-class consulting processes, methodologies, and talent
- Responsible for professional services revenue, profitability, and bookings targets
- Oversee services business development at the regional level
- Provide delivery management to ensure customer satisfaction and referenceable accounts including resolving client escalations
- Provide support, tactical and programmatic, in achieving district product sales quota
- Champions the use of AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, documentation automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards

Required Skills
Qualifications
- Technical education (BS, MS) preferred
- 15+ years of consulting and consulting management experience at the Region/ District level
- 10+ years of experience managing all aspects of a services business including P&L management experience
- Prior experience in systems integration consulting or software vendor services
- Demonstrated ability to grow and manage the technical personnel and processes associated with enterprise software sales
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving ability
- Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop and retain project-based employees
- Demonstrated ability to develop, deploy and maintain career development and project delivery programs
- Well skilled in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality
- Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop and scale to the needs of the department
The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $207,000 - $225,000. Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
