Professional Service Automation (PSA) - Platform Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Professional Service Automation (PSA) Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within the PSA ecosystem. This role requires strong technical expertise in Apex development, APIs, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and customize the PSA applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and APIs.

·        Understand and leverage PSA out of the box functionality.

·        Implement complex workflows, triggers, and automation to support business requirements.

·        Collaborate with administrators and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

·        Ensure compliance with Salesforce.com and PSA development best practices.

·        Stay up-to-date with PSA and Salesforce releases, leveraging new features for optimization.

·        Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

·        Support integration projects with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

·        Utilize AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Required

·        5–7 years of experience developing on PSA (i.e. Certinia – FinancialForce) and Salesforce platforms.

·        Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.

·        Strong understanding of PSA data model and architecture.

·        Experience with integration patterns and external system connectivity.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.

·        Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop, and scale to the needs of their department.

Preferred

·        Certinia certifications (e.g., FinancialForce Developer Specialist).

·        Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Gearset), and DevOps practices.

·        Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API management.
