IT Application Developer - Salesforce

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining robust Salesforce solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.

·        Configure and maintain complex flows, triggers, and automation to support business requirements.

·        Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

·        Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices for development, security, and performance.

·        Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and implement new features to enhance system capabilities.

·        Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·        Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.

·        Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Required

·        5–7 years of Salesforce development experience in complex environments.

·        Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.

·        Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and declarative features.

·        Ability to quickly learn and adapt to complex business processes and system flows.

·        Familiarity with Salesforce release cycles and ability to leverage new features effectively.

·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

·        Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality

·        Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop, and scale to the needs of their department

Preferred

·        Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II).

·        Experience with integration patterns and external system connectivity using REST/SOAP APIs.

·        Knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

·        Strong Salesforce CPQ knowledge
