About the Role

Tungsten Automation is building Pay+, a next-generation embedded payments and working capital platform that is native to our Invoice Agility ecosystem. Pay+ is re-architecting how enterprises move money by unifying ACH, RTP, wires, virtual cards, FX, early payment programs, supplier liquidity, and advanced reconciliation into a single, intelligent, invoice-native experience.

At the core of Pay+ is agentic AI—autonomous, goal-driven intelligence that orchestrates payment decisions, optimizes rail selection, manages exceptions, mitigates risk, and continuously improves outcomes. Rather than payments being a back-office execution layer, Pay+ transforms them into an adaptive system that learns from invoice data, supplier behavior, and transaction signals to drive speed, accuracy, liquidity, and value at scale.

We are seeking a transformational product executive to lead the global Pay+ business. This high-visibility, high-impact role carries a mandate to define the product vision, build and scale a multi-rail payments platform, cultivate a world-class partner ecosystem, and deliver measurable, material revenue outcomes. The remit spans end-to-end ownership: product strategy and management, platform architecture, agentic AI and data leverage, commercial and banking partnerships, regulatory and compliance alignment, and go-to-market execution.

This leader will shape how Tungsten evolves from automation into intelligent, embedded financial infrastructure—turning payments from a cost center into a strategic advantage for enterprises and their suppliers.

What You’ll Own

  • Co-own and shape the strategic vision for Pay+ in partnership with executive leadership, defining the long-term product and platform strategy across architecture, network expansion, monetization, and durable differentiation, aligned to Tungsten’s broader Invoice Agility roadmap and growth objectives.

  • Translate complex enterprise payments capabilities into a coherent, market-leading product roadmap, spanning RTP, ACH, wires, ISO 20022, tokenization, virtual cards, FX, embedded working capital, AI-driven exception handling, and intelligent multi-rail routing—balancing innovation with regulatory and operational rigor.

  • Define and operationalize platform “north stars” and success metrics, including payment conversion and attach rates, supplier adoption and activation, straight-through processing, cost-to-serve, time-to-cash, payment success rates, fraud and exception reduction, and the progressive impact of AI-driven automation.

  • Lead the build-out of a global, multi-rail orchestration engine that abstracts payment complexity, optimizes rail selection, and enables seamless execution across domestic and cross-border payments, card issuing, FX, rebates, supplier liquidity, and working capital solutions at scale.

  • Partner deeply with Engineering and Architecture leadership to define foundational platform services, APIs, data models, risk controls, and scalability principles—ensuring Pay+ is built as resilient, extensible financial infrastructure rather than a collection of point capabilities.

  • Own strategic relationships with the global payments ecosystem, including banks, card networks, issuer processors, FX and cross-border partners, KYC/onboarding providers, compliance vendors, and working capital funders; drive alignment on roadmap dependencies, commercial models, and operational excellence.

  • Architect sophisticated commercial and monetization models, encompassing interchange economics, revenue-share structures, FX spreads, rebates, referral programs, liquidity pricing, and partner MDF—ensuring strong unit economics and scalable revenue growth.

  • Design and scale a flexible partner ecosystem, including Bring-Your-Own-Bank and multi-bank connectivity models, enabling enterprise customers to leverage existing relationships while expanding Tungsten’s network reach and optionality.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global product organization spanning payment rails, FX and virtual cards, embedded working capital, and platform services; set a high bar for talent, accountability, and strategic thinking.

  • Foster a culture of outcome-driven product development, characterized by strong customer empathy, rigorous prioritization, cross-functional alignment with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, and a relentless focus on delivering measurable business impact.
