Communication Consultant

Job purpose: To provide post sales services to end-users and partners for the business communication range of products and services.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Tungsten Automation Corporation Communication Server installations.
• Project management to define technical end user requirements.
• Professional services work to install and configure complex Tungsten Automation Corporation Communication solutions
• 1st point of contact for end users or partners
• Participation in standby for 24x7 support
• Trouble shooting of underlying technical issues (operating system, network, connected IT systems, telephony)
• The team member should 'create knowledge' and share this.
• Documentation of reported issues and solutions
• Gain and maintain certification on Tungsten Automation Corporation Communication Server products
• Ability to travel up to 30% (customer onsite visits)

We are looking for a communications professional services consultant to help with our growing customer base.  This position is based in Irvine, CA and requires at least 2 years experience providing exceptional customer support.   

• Skills require 3–5 years experience solid troubleshooting ability using standard tools, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (desktop & server) and client/server applications, email systems, telephony, IP, SQL, and IIS. Comfort using scripting mark-up languages such as XML is desirable.
• Candidates who are fast learners with new technology, can work independently, remain calm and logical in stressful situations, always maintain a positive attitude, and take pride in delivering great customer service are encouraged to apply.   Some after-hours duty is required.
• A BS degree in computer science or related field is required, as is strong oral and written communication skills.
• Driver's license
