Responsible for driving investment strategy, owning the roadmap, and ensuring the operational and financial success for the Document Productivity product pillar.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for Tungsten Automation’s PDF and electronic signature products that align with company goals and strategy.
  • Set product growth targets with the CFO and achieve targets in the assigned product area.
  • Design and own product and go-to-market strategies to drive product growth and adoption, including facilitation around the product roadmap; measure return and calibrate the organization as needed.
  • Prioritize optimization opportunities to ensure Tungsten Automation advances strategic initiatives with maximum impact and value.
  • Perform due diligence, market research, data synthesis, and analysis to anticipate market trends and understand the competitive landscape for Tungsten Automation solutions.
  • Identify new opportunities, assess product performance in the broader landscape, and help develop long-term strategic plans for existing and future product/solution lines.
  • Collaborate with Product Development in gathering, analyzing, and assessing business requirements to translate into features of our strategy and overall product portfolio.
  • Communicate strategy, roadmaps, and priorities across a wide spectrum of audiences, from partner teams to executive/board levels, customers, and prospects.
  • Work closely with the product management, corporate development, channel, strategic alliance, and broader cross-functional leadership teams to ensure Tungsten Automation achieves its long-term overall portfolio vision and business goals.
  • Interface with industry analysts to ensure continued leadership positions in market reports.
  • Ensure appropriate metrics are in place to measure progress on strategic initiatives.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of proven and respected thought-leader among mid/large enterprise software technology companies in the PDF and electronic signature industry (e.g., Adobe, Nitro, Foxit, etc.)
  • Proven experience with thick-client and cloud-based PDF and electronic signature products both from product management and go-to-market standpoints.
  • Ability to motivate and lead people and hold others accountable.
  • Recognized thought leader in cloud-based technologies.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and execute solutions.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Time management skills to manage the timeline and progress of strategic initiatives.
  • Intellectual discipline, a problem-solving aptitude, creativity, and independent judgment.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven ability to develop and measure financial performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
  • Proven and respected leader in the document productivity software industry with demonstrable experience in strategizing for mid to large enterprise-level companies.
  • Deep understanding of document productivity processes, software, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Design and own product and go-to-market strategies to drive product growth and adoption; measure return and calibrate the organization as needed.
  • Experience with leading teams and fostering a culture of accountability with the capability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving product strategy objectives.
  • Exceptional intellectual discipline coupled with strong problem-solving aptitude, creative thinking, and ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities with a bias towards action and a proven ability to make difficult choices under pressure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, measuring, and analyzing financial performance metrics related to product strategy and development.
  • Extensive knowledge of operational procedures specific to the document productivity software industry, with a focus on optimizing processes and procedures for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in the document productivity industry, with the ability to anticipate future trends and align product strategy accordingly.
  • Experience in managing the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch optimization, specifically in the document productivity software industry.
  • Possess a deep technical understanding of document productivity software solutions to aid in developing robust strategies and to communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Experience in conducting competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market for document productivity solutions.
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment with the agility to pivot product strategy as needed in response to industry trends and changes.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance issues related to document productivity software is preferred.

While the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job requirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the business.

 

The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $175,000 - $210,000.  Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
