Technical Support Engineer

Your tasks:
1. Analyze and resolve technical customer queries via email, phone, remote access, or other support channels
2. Collaborate with the Product Development team as well as the Consulting Services team to deliver complete and comprehensive solutions to software and process enhancements
3. Communicate technical issues to various departments within Tungsten Automation, such as Product Management, Software Development, Sales, and Quality Assurance
4. Forwarding customer issues to the Sr. Support Engineer as required with a detailed description of the issues and guidance on how to reproduce the problem
5. Recreating customer environments to determine root causes of errors
6. Testing of updates, upgrades, and hotfixes
7. Maintenance and expansion of our knowledge database
8. Participation in regular support team meetings
9. Mentoring and advising Associate Technical Support Engineers as well as other Technical Support Engineers
What makes you stand out:
- Computer science or equivalent degree/qualification
- 3 years experience in Customer Technical Support
- Very good written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage (German, French, Spanish…)
- Strong service mentality, client orientation, and solution-oriented way of thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Quick comprehension, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
- Collaborative Mindset

- Have experience in developing, improving, and supporting application systems
- Understanding of one or more of the following technologies: VMWare, Microsoft IIS, Robotic Process Automation (ROA), SQL, Oracle, Windows Server Operating Systems, Load balancing and Business Process Management (BPM)
