Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax) is seeking an experienced Vice President of Product Marketing. This leadership position is instrumental in driving awareness, adoption, and revenue growth across our comprehensive portfolio of solutions. Responsibilities include developing product positioning, organizing messaging architecture, overseeing analyst relations, executing product launches, and delivering sales enablement. The ideal candidate should be a proven leader in Product Marketing with B2B software experience, possessing a track record of building and scaling product marketing teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities

Team Management: Develop team strategy and lead a high-performing team of product marketers, setting clear performance metrics that align with corporate strategies and revenue targets. 

Market Intelligence: Understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Conduct market research, analyze customer data, and identify key customer personas to target with specific product features or marketing strategies.

Product Positioning: Define compelling value propositions and narratives for our product offerings. Craft messaging frameworks that effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to target audience segments.

Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality assets, including whitepapers, eBooks, blog posts, and thought leadership articles, to educate prospects and customers and drive inbound leads and pipeline growth.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development, and execution of, go-to-market plans for solutions, new product launches and feature releases. Ensure there is alignment, buy-in and coordination across the organization.

Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the tools, training, and resources needed to effectively sell our products. Develop sales collateral, including pitch decks, battle cards, and case studies.

Analyst Relations: Manage relationships with industry analysts to enhance market visibility and credibility. Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and other engagements to ensure analysts have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.

Customer Advocacy: Develop customer advocacy programs and showcase customer success stories to drive referrals and build brand loyalty. Manage the strategic advisory board (SAB), including recruitment of board members, facilitation of meetings, and collaboration on strategic initiatives to drive business growth and innovation.


Required Experience

    • 15+ years in B2B product marketing leadership roles.
    • Bachelor’s degree in related.  MBA preferred but not required.
    • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and customer-first approach to decision-making.
    • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of leadership and management.
    • Expertise in explaining complex concepts and technologies to a broad audience of external and internal stakeholders.
    • Demonstrates and fosters a sense of urgency, strong commitment, and accountability while making sound decisions and achieving goals.
    • Proven leadership in developing and managing high-performing teams, with a track record of cultivating a positive and results-driven culture.
    • Expert critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate potential roadblocks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
    • Experience in SaaS or technology industries preferred.

     While the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job requirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the business.

    The base salary range for this role, across the US is $175,000 - $225,000.  Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
