Our Use of AI in Hiring

Our company is committed to a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory hiring process. We use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in the initial screening of resumes and CVs against the applicable job description. These tools are used solely to support — not replace — human judgment, and no candidate is rejected based on automated processing alone.

In compliance with the EU AI Act, our AI systems are classified as High Risk and are subject to strict governance requirements. Specifically:

  • Bias monitoring: Our AI tools are regularly tested and audited to detect and mitigate bias. They do not process or infer sensitive personal attributes such as race, gender, age, nationality, political opinion, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Human oversight: All final hiring decisions are made by a human recruiter. A qualified person reviews and validates every outcome before any candidate is accepted or rejected.
  • Your rights: You have the right to request a human review of any AI-assisted decision affecting your application, and to receive an explanation of the logic applied.

Data we collect and how it's processed

To evaluate your application, we process personal data including your name, contact details (email, phone), and the content of your resume/CV. This data is processed based on our legitimate interest in recruitment, and where applicable, to take steps prior to entering into a contract with you.

Sub-processors

We may use third-party service providers (sub-processors), including AI-assisted screening tools, to help process this data on our behalf. Where a provider is located outside your country or region, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for the transfer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. A list of our current sub-processors is available on request.

Data retention: 

We retain your application data for a maximum of 12 months in the EEA or a maximum of 4 years in other jurisdictions.  If you are hired your application will be a part of your employee records and subject to retention requirements of employee data and governed by the jurisdiction of your employment

 

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to our processing of your data
  • Request a human review of any AI-assisted decision, with an explanation of the logic applied
