Job Description
KPS Global, LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder for our First Shift operations at our Michigan facility - SRC Refrigeration. As a Welder - First Shift at KPS Global, LLC, you will be responsible for performing various welding operations using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques to join metal components according to specifications and blueprints. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with team members to meet production goals while maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Your primary responsibilities will include preparing materials for welding, setting up welding equipment, performing welding operations according to specifications, inspecting completed welds for quality and conformance to standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You will also be expected to identify and report any defects or issues that may affect product quality or production efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding principles, techniques, and safety protocols. You should be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, have good hand-eye coordination, and possess the physical stamina to work in a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time, regular position with no travel requirements. The position is based at our Michigan facility and operates during the first shift, typically from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
- Experience with TIG welding

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Completion of a welding certification program preferred
- Experience with quality control and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
- Experience working in a production environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Experience with various types of metals and welding applications
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality
- Experience maintaining welding equipment and troubleshooting issues
