Position Summary
The Industrial CAD Designer plays a key role in supporting KPS Global by using advanced design systems to develop detailed blueprints, approval drawings, and comprehensive production packages. These designs ensure that custom enclosures for controlled environments are accurately planned and built to meet customer specifications. By transforming concepts into precise technical documents, the Industrial CAD Designer helps maintain quality standards, streamline production, and enable efficient collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams.
Required Experience
Qualifications
- Items listed are required unless “preferred” is indicated
- High School Diploma; CAD certificate or degree preferred
- 1–3 years relevant experience
- Strong geometric aptitude and software proficiency
- Proven experience with Autodesk AutoCAD for assembly design (architectural drafting applicability of the software is preferred)
- Experience in 3D Design tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit)
- Ability to conceptualize 2D and 3D forms/shapes, read blueprints, and do calculations dealing with geometry and trigonometry.
- High focus on both the fine details and the overall scope of projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability and willingness to actively contribute to your immediate team and surrounding teams
- Experience providing outstanding customer service and focused, high-quality work
- Proficient with MS Office applications
